The multimedia language laboratory system is designed for advanced intensive language teaching.
The presence of different simultaneous media makes the system the best tool used for informatics education of different teaching levels.
The system is based on an audio/video networking including all necessary multimedia equipments to assure the ultimate interaction in real time bases between the teacher and students.
The enhanced multimedia built-in interface at each student desk together with the virtual recorder software facilitates the process of intensive training. Furthermore, this system enables the student to improve his language skills by using techniques such as dictation, word filling, and sub-titiling excercises to cover all language training aspects.
The teacher desk is equipped with a user friendly graphical interface running in a standard computer to operate the whole system.
For more flexibility the teacher desk is set-up with a second monitor used for teaching purposes as well as monitoring the student€™s workstation.
Through the software package the actual installation map of the class room is displayed to simplify the interaction with student places.
The available LAN enables a centralized logout, and different forms of shut-downs (software package, workstations, and the entire system).
